This toy comes with all the paraphernalia of greatness and power! You can even rig the power salutes. And you probably can feel how little breathing room there is around a character like this, assuming you get permission to breathe in his presence!
These guys are nothing new but they keep popping up! They appeals to the worst instincts in people: their fear, their anger, hatred and resentments, their jealousies, their impatience and dissatisfactions. That's their power base. Oh yes - and PROJECTION! They always have someone to blame it all on that needs to be attacked and extermination, their properties confiscated, treat that enemy like crap, take their lives if necessary. It's an old Play Book but it works and people fall for it over and over! Democracy still has shallow roots, those roots need to go down further and anchor more. And democracy always has to be renewed, practiced, explained, demonstrated. And democracy is not as splashy and emotionally satisfying as a dictatorship can be, but shame on us!!
