Jerry Fjerkenstad, MA, LP
— Hermes' Web Founder
Jerry Fjerkenstad, MA, LP, has been a licensed
psychologist for over 22 years, incorporating the
Hermes’ Web tool into sex offender treatment and
assessment, individual and group psychotherapy,
drama therapy, and mental health program design,
implementation, and supervision. He served as
clinical director of Project Pathfinder, an outpatient sex
offender treatment program, and as the founder and
executive director of Minnesotans Actively Seeking
Community (MASC), which developed the Janus
Treatment Residence for mentally ill youth from the
ground up.

Fjerkenstad also founded the Dream Guild Theater, a
community-based non-profit corporation that
developed a series of 28 theatrical performances from
which his work with therapeutic toys emerged. He
developed and implemented a comprehensive
violence prevention program for prisoners and high
school students and worked with the Dakota County
Sheriff’s Department and 13 other police departments
to implement a crisis-intervention program. He has
extensive national and international training
experience, many published writings, and years of
expertise in movement therapy, dance, music, and
theater. Fjerkenstad currently serves as a psychologist
at a maximum-security correctional facility.
